Whitetop Shop, Driving West on US58 - Located right on US58, also known as "Highland Parkway" when you leave Volney VA, we are also on "The Crooked Road", Virginia's Heritage Music Trail and are really very easy to find once you get to the Whitetop Virginia community. No matter whether you are coming from the north, south, or east you need to get your road atlas and find US58 in Virginia. It runs East / West close to the Virginia - North Carolina border. At times other roads run along with US58, such as US221 and VA16, but you will follow US58 to the small community of Volney VA. At Volney, US58 makes a hard turn at The Log House Restaurant and the name changes from "Troutdale Highway" to "Highland Parkway". Click on the "Maps" link on this page for maps of the local area.
Highland Parkway, as the name suggests, becomes more winding and has steeper grades than previously encountered. Even if you are towing a camper or horse trailer, or have a large motorhome, you can easily navigate the route. Just remember to take your time and enjoy the scenery as you climb into the Mount Rogers and Whitetop area.
The entrance to Grayson Highlands State Park will be approximately 8 miles after making the turn at Volney, and we are another 8 miles past the Park entrance. As you are traveling West on US58, we will be on the left side of the highway 1 mile past the Whitetop Post Office.
We have plenty of parking, even for large RVs, so be sure to stop by

Damascus Shop - For those coming from areas West, and perhaps North of Damascus, the easiest route to our Damascus shop is to travel Interstate 81 to Abingdon VA. Take Exit 19 and go East on US58. As you come to Damascus, watch for Food City on the left. This is Tripplett Mill Shopping Center. We are just across the parking lot from Food City..
